JAC’s client is a leading Japanese law firm in Vietnam, seeking an Associate Lawyer

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and support partners and senior associates in delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice to clients

• Carry out due diligence and prepare initial reviews and/or first drafts of transaction documents (e.g. SPA, SSA, SHA, Charter), financial agreements (loan agreements, credit facilities, etc.), and other related documents under the guidance of clients or senior associates

• Advise on licensing matters and prepare, submit, and follow up on regulatory application documents

• Translate and proofread legal and business documents to ensure accuracy and clarity

• Liaise with relevant authorities to obtain opinions, clarifications, and regulatory guidance

   

Job Requirements

• Qualified to practice law in Vietnam

• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken

• At least 01 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in M&A, Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Finance, and general corporate matters

• Prior experience working in a law firm environment

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or higher academic qualification
