PR/159989 | M&E Project Manager (Data Center Project)

JOJB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Project Leadership & Coordination
Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of all M&E works for the data center project.
Manage design reviews, technical submittals, and ensure compliance with client specifications and international standards.
Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams for seamless integration of M&E systems.

Technical & Quality Assurance
Ensure proper installation and commissioning of HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, fire protection, and other critical systems.
Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to maintain high standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions promptly.

Stakeholder Management
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and timely approvals.
Conduct regular progress meetings and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.

Budget & Schedule Control
Develop and monitor project budgets for M&E works; ensure cost efficiency.
Track project schedules and milestones; implement corrective actions when needed.

Risk & Compliance
Identify potential risks related to M&E systems and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in M&E project management, with at least 3 years in data center or mission-critical projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems (high/low voltage), HVAC, fire protection, and building services.
Familiarity with Tier standards (Uptime Institute) and redundancy design for data centers.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and M&E design software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS: 
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, or M&E-related credentials).
Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-track projects.
