Job Description

A Leading EC Group is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager/Product Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Requirement Definition
- Create and maintain the product backlog
- Act as a liaison between business units, development teams, QA, and other stakeholders
- Define milestones and delivery timelines
- Write clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
- Participate in sprint planning meetings
- Support QA in understanding requirements and test scenarios
- Coordinate release schedules and ensure readiness
- Track KPIs and user feedback after release
- Maintain up-to-date documentation (e.g., PRDs, release notes)
- Do operational tasks to provide services

Required Skills

  • International PM Experience: Proven experience managing offshore development projects, especially with India-based teams; strong English communication.

  • Cross-Cultural Project Coordination: 3+ years managing system development involving Indian engineers and Japanese business stakeholders; able to bridge technical and cultural gaps.

  • JIRA Proficiency: Skilled in task creation, assignment, tracking, and reporting.

  • Confluence Documentation: Experienced in creating and managing project documentation.

  • Negotiation & Coordination: Able to understand both Japanese and Indian work cultures to resolve issues and align expectations.

  • Requirements Gathering: Strong communication skills to translate business needs from Japanese stakeholders into clear specifications.

  • Basic UX/UI Knowledge: Understanding of UX/UI fundamentals and ability to suggest improvements.

  • Product Strategy: Able to propose strategies that enhance product value, efficiency, and usability for internal users.
