No Japanese Language Required QA Automation Lead Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proven experience in automating testing processes, and excellent leadership skills to guide the team in delivering secure, high-quality financial software. A high sense awareness and attention to detail are essential to ensure the reliability, compliance, and safety of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability of requirements and high coverage across features.
• Participate in defining and improving QA processes and automation frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure stability and scalability.
• Perform manual testing when required, particularly for exploratory or edge cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
• Contribute to maintaining secure testing practices, especially in handling sensitive financial data.
• Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in QA automation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a lead QA engineer or QA automation lead.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading a small QA team (3–5 members).
• Minimum 5 years of professional QA experience.
• Demonstrated success in automating testing processes for web, API, or software products and relevant experience in manual testing as well.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Postman, Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and software development life cycle.
• Ability to create and review test metrics for web, mobile, API, or software products.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, microservices, or SaaS platforms.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
