Job Description

Our client is a global e-commerce and operations leader committed to delivering exceptional service and convenience to customers everywhere. Their fulfillment network connects innovative technology with efficient logistics, enabling millions of deliveries every day and helping people get what they need—faster and easier.

This position is responsible for leading process and system improvements that enhance inbound transportation quality — specifically delivery lead times and efficiency — within a multi-node logistics network. You will drive end-to-end initiatives to plan, optimize, and execute improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring stable and scalable inbound delivery performance.

Context

Within the logistics network, goods are transported to fulfillment sites before being made available for customer orders. Maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely inbound receipt are critical to both operational efficiency and customer experience. This role contributes to maximizing inbound effectiveness while supporting overall supply chain performance and cost management.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound transportation quality (delivery timeliness, efficiency, carrier performance, etc.)

  • Identify bottlenecks and root causes within inbound logistics operations and propose data-driven improvement strategies

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Supply Chain Management, System Development teams, carriers, and shippers to design and deploy process and technology enhancements

  • Manage implementation of new operational workflows and systems that improve transportation reliability and scalability

  • Continuously evaluate delivery patterns, network constraints, and shipment characteristics to refine transportation models and routing logic
