This position is responsible for leading process and system improvements that enhance inbound transportation quality — specifically delivery lead times and efficiency — within a multi-node logistics network. You will drive end-to-end initiatives to plan, optimize, and execute improvements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring stable and scalable inbound delivery performance.
Context
Within the logistics network, goods are transported to fulfillment sites before being made available for customer orders. Maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely inbound receipt are critical to both operational efficiency and customer experience. This role contributes to maximizing inbound effectiveness while supporting overall supply chain performance and cost management.
Responsibilities
Own and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound transportation quality (delivery timeliness, efficiency, carrier performance, etc.)
Identify bottlenecks and root causes within inbound logistics operations and propose data-driven improvement strategies
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Supply Chain Management, System Development teams, carriers, and shippers to design and deploy process and technology enhancements
Manage implementation of new operational workflows and systems that improve transportation reliability and scalability
Continuously evaluate delivery patterns, network constraints, and shipment characteristics to refine transportation models and routing logic

Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, technical college degree, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of professional work experience
Experience using Excel for data analysis (including pivot tables and advanced functions)
Business-level Japanese proficiency
Desired Qualifications
1+ year of project management experience (e.g., vendor management, troubleshooting, production engineering, quality management — industry not required)
Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 700+)
