This position is responsible for managing and scaling a nationwide transportation network to deliver high-quality, reliable, and efficient logistics services. As a Program Management Specialist, you will collaborate with line-haul carriers and internal cross-functional teams (Planning, Operations, Systems, Finance, etc.) to expand transportation capacity and drive continuous improvement across multiple transport programs.
What You’ll Do
Lead end-to-end program management for core transportation initiatives, including large and medium truck line-haul operations, small-vehicle pickup/delivery programs, large-item transportation, and inter-facility inventory transfer.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to evolve, optimize, and scale transportation programs, including carrier selection, cost control, quality management, and long-term capacity planning.
Leverage systems, operational data, and forecasting models to design and enhance processes for network planning, demand prediction, carrier procurement, and performance visibility.
Identify operational challenges, conduct root cause analysis, and implement data-driven improvement strategies that can scale across multiple regions and programs.
Plan and execute procurement and capacity strategies for high-volume periods, ensuring stable operations during peak demand.
Support carrier performance monitoring and quality management to ensure safe, consistent, and reliable transportation execution.
What You’ll Bring
Experience in program management or operations management (preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments).
Ability to structure and solve problems using data and systemic process understanding.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple teams.
Business-level English to participate in cross-regional discussions and decision-making.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience)
Intermediate or higher PC skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel including data aggregation functions and pivot table analysis)
Business-level Japanese proficiency
Experience in corporate sales or experience driving business process improvements through data analysis
Experience working with clients or projects in the logistics industry at an IT company or consulting firm
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to adapt to changing situations and make logical, well-reasoned decisions
Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
Experience identifying key issues in ambiguous situations and leading problem-solving efforts with clear rationale
