Senior Network Engineer Up to 12M JPY Exclusive job

One of Japan's larger IT Trading System provider is looking Mid/Senior-Level Network Engineer position.

 Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting issues and providing support to both internal and external clients; Some occasional after-hours support may also be required
- Plan, prepare and implement network changes and maintenance work
- Research requirements and design appropriate solutions for internal and external customers
- Work with equipment vendors and telecoms providers to resolve issues
- Assist with device configuration and installation at remote sites
- Configuring firewall rules and ACLs
- Provide guidance and technical assistance to junior members of the team
- Find ways to improve tools and processes in relation to day to day and other operations
- Various administrative tasks, including documentation and preparing diagrams

Interviews: 3 interviews 

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and/or at least 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
- Interest in network management and operations and an avid learner
- Proactive and able to operate independently with minimal supervision, but at the same time a motivated team player
- Ability to multi-task and willing to perform hands-on work
- Network vendor certification is a plus (CCIE, CCNP, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of routing and switching and some experience working with firewalls
- Meticulous and accurate with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and willing to go the extra mile especially when faced with challenging situations
- Good interpersonal skills and adept at dealing with external vendors and clients
