We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Environmental Professional to join our client's Environmental Assurance and Protection (EAP) team in Japan. In this role, you’ll partner with operations, facilities, and safety teams to ensure compliance with national and local environmental regulations and company standards. You’ll also help shape environmental strategy and support initiatives that strengthen our commitment to sustainability across our fulfillment and logistics network.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations and internal company standards.
Conduct regular site visits, provide training, and support site-level teams to meet environmental requirements.
Establish and maintain environmental regulatory tasks within the company’s management system.
Develop and implement Japan-level environmental procedures aligned with operational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, and Safety) to drive environmental performance improvements.
Lead environmental incident investigations and develop effective corrective actions.
Monitor performance metrics, identify risks, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement.
Support business growth and change initiatives by integrating environmental best practices into operations.
This role is based in Tokyo, with travel across Japan (up to 60%) to support multiple sites.
