We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimize manufacturing operations in a high-volume, Tier 1 automotive environment. This role demands strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of automotive production systems. The ideal candidate will oversee plant performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with corporate goals across a workforce of 2,000+ employees.
Position: Operation Manager
Salary: 120,000 – 150,000 THB / month
Welfares: Bonus, PVF, Housing, COLA, and others
Location: Amata City, Chonburi (Amatanakorn)
Working Day: Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics departments.
Develop and execute operational strategies to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Manage and mentor plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and workforce optimization.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant automotive standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and finance.
Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve operational efficiency.
Lead change management and digital transformation efforts where applicable.
Represent the plant in customer audits, corporate reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior operations role.
Proven leadership in managing large-scale operations (2,000+ employees).
Strong knowledge of Tier 1 supplier dynamics and OEM expectations.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM.
Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing analytics tools.
Good command in English.
Able to speak Japanese would be a plus.
