本ポジションでは、日本市場の法務・規制戦略を統括し、商業契約やコンプライアンス、政府機関との折衝などを担当していただきます。

高報酬・数年後には法務ヘッドへの昇格機会あり。週3日在宅可・金曜早上がり制度など、WLバランスも充実。

• マーケティング、営業、デジタル、コンシューマー部門などに対する法務アドバイスの提供
• 複雑な商業契約の作成、レビュー、交渉（日本語・英語）
• 日本国内の法規制・コンプライアンス・ガバナンス対応のリード
• 政府機関や業界団体と協力し、サステナビリティおよびリスク低減の取り組みを推進すること
• 法改正や政策動向のモニタリング、ビジネス戦略の修正（適宜）
• グローバル本社およびリージョンの法務チームとの連携、クロスボーダープロジェクトの推進

As a Senior Legal Counsel (Regulatory & Commercial), you will play a critical role in shaping Japan's legal and regulatory strategies while supporting the company's shift toward innovation and harm reduction. This is a high-impact position ideal for experienced legal professionals who excel at bridging business goals with regulatory compliance in fast-evolving industries.

• Provide strategic legal counsel across marketing, sales, digital, and consumer operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts in both English and Japanese.
• Advise on regulatory, compliance, and governance matters relevant to Japan's business.
• Engage with government agencies to support sustainability and harm-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor legislative developments and ensure business strategies align with evolving laws.
• Collaborate with regional and HQ legal teams on cross-border policies and transformation projects.

必須条件 経験・資格：

• 日本の弁護士資格
• 法務経験8〜10年以上（企業内法務＋法律事務所の経験）
• 日本の法規制動向に精通している方
• 小売・消費財などB-to-Cの業界の知識
• 外資系企業や日系グローバル企業の契約・コンプライアンス・リスク管理に関するアドバイザリー経験
• の実務経験
• 日本語・英語ともに高いビジネスレベルでのコミュニケーション能力。

• Licensed Bengoshi (Japan-qualified lawyer).
• 8-10+ years of experience in both in-house and law firm environments.
• Strong knowledge of Japan's regulatory and consumer-facing industries.
• Proven expertise in compliance, contracts, and risk management within global settings.

• Exceptional communication in Japanese and English with executive-level presence.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Collaborative and proactive approach, with adaptability in dynamic environments.

• Japanese: Native-level proficiency (required).
• English: Fluent business proficiency (required).

• Background in technology, healthcare, or regulated consumer industries.
• Experience engaging with government or policy-making bodies.
