主な業務内容

• 規制対応の専門家として、事業目標に沿った戦略的なアドバイスを提供すること
• 日本国内における規制上の義務・リスクの特定と管理
• グローバルチームを対象としたコンプライアンス方針・手続きの策定・導入
• プロダクトローンチや新規ビジネス施策支援
• 金融庁（FSA）をはじめとする規制当局とのリレーション強化
• 規制・コンプライアンス機能を代表してAPACやグローバルプロジェクトに参画すること

Join a global fintech leader as a Regulatory Counsel / Senior, where you will shape regulatory strategy and ensure compliance in Japan. This role plays a critical part in supporting innovative financial services, engaging with regulators, and enabling business growth. You will collaborate with global teams, influence product launches, and represent the regulatory function in cross-border initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic regulatory advice aligned with business objectives
• Identify and manage regulatory obligations and risks in Japan
• Develop and implement compliance policies across global teams
• Support product launches and business initiatives from a regulatory perspective
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators, including the Financial Services Agency (FSA)
• Represent regulatory and compliance functions in global projects and APAC workstreams

必須条件

• 金融業界における規制対応、コンプライアンス、または法務関連経験10年以上
• 金融庁との直接交渉経験
• 外資系または急成長企業での勤務経験
• 複雑な規制を分析し、実務的なソリューションを設計する能力

• コミュニケーション能力
• 社内外のステークホルダーマネジメント
• 仕事や課題解決に対する積極性
• チームワーク
• 変化の速い環境に柔軟に対応できること

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：ビジネスレベル以上

• 弁護士資格（日本または海外の法曹資格）歓迎
• APAC地域でのクロスボーダー規制対応経験
• 決済、フィンテック、デジタル金融サービス分野での知識・経験

• 10+ years in regulatory or legal roles within financial services
• Proven experience directly engaging with the Financial Services Agency (FSA)
• Previous exposure to multinational or fast-growing organizations

• Strong ability to analyze complex regulations and design practical solutions, excellent bilingual communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach in fast-paced environments

• Japanese: Native level
• English: Fluent level

• Legal qualification (Japanese bar or foreign bar)
• Cross-border or APAC regional regulatory experience
• Background in payments, fintech, or digital financial services
