【Position: Service Engineer】

As a Service Engineer, you will be at the frontline of our operations — providing technical expertise, installation, maintenance, and after-sales support to maximize the value of Watson-Marlow’s products.

You will work closely with clients in life sciences and process industries, ensuring that our equipment performs at its best and contributes to our customers’ operational excellence.

【Position: Service Engineer】

• Install, maintain, and repair various Watson-Marlow pump products and related systems
• Perform troubleshooting and prepare detailed technical reports
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and operational training for customers
• Provide after-sales support, including repairs and spare parts replacement
• Prepare IQ/OQ documentation and ensure quality compliance
• Collaborate with the global engineering team and provide English reports when necessary
• Propose technical improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

Travel Requirements:

• Domestic travel: 2–3 times per month
• Overseas travel: 1–2 times per year (technical training and global meetings)

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical knowledge)
• At least 5 years of practical experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer (maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of machinery or equipment)
• Valid driver’s license (for customer site visits)
• Native-level Japanese; basic English communication skills (for training and internal reporting)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining or repairing peristaltic pumps in life sciences or industrial environments
• CAD experience (2D or 3D, any platform)
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, control systems, or industrial networks

Annual Salary

JPY 6,000,000 – 8,000,000, depending on current salary and experience
