Our client is a leading Japanese construction and engineering firm specializing in infrastructure development, civil engineering, and urban development projects. They are committed to sustainability and integrating advanced technology into its project execution. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Construction Manager to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the construction of shafts, substations, buildings, and other related activities.
- Actively participate in daily and ad-hoc meetings with clients, providing updates on site progress.
- Review and prepare comprehensive method statements for client submission.
- Diligently monitor and track site progress, ensuring seamless coordination with subcontractors.
- Directly manage civil construction aspects, including earthwork, concrete and steel structures, diaphragm walls, earth anchors, piling, and girder installations.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board/Resident Engineer accepted qualifications.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing civil and infrastructure construction work for projects.
Proven experience in large-scale Civil and Infrastructure projects, such as those undertaken by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
