A company in the precision manufacturing industry is hiring for an Assistant Engineering Manager (Maintenance) position. This organization is known for its commitment to high-quality production and continuous improvement in manufacturing systems. The role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful engineering initiatives that enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise maintenance activities for stamping machines, tooling, utilities, and plant facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure permanent solutions are in place.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective maintenance scheduling.
- Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgets, and contractor activities.
- Drive machine improvement and facility upgrade projects aligned with safety and production goals.
- Monitor equipment performance KPIs and initiate improvement plans as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as Maintenance or Engineering management in a manufacturing setting, proficient with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
