We are looking for a high-calibre candidate who can be on the ground to set up the operations of the distribution centre and workshop site in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in manufacturing, production, or warehouse operations management
Background from the woodworking industry, handicraft, metal processing, precision, or cutting tools will be ideal
Native German and Business English communication skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will help the company find a suitable building/site as well as setting up the production processes and warehouse operations
Oversee daily operations, design processes, and optimise workflows to maximise productivity, capacity, efficiency, and profits across all business functions
Assign tasks and carry out operations within the workshop and warehouse
Improve operation processes to increase smooth processes, productivity, and efficiency, to meet business objectives and maintain operational excellence.
Establish performance metrics to monitor KPIs
Formulate and implement company policies and ensure compliance
Prepare and manage budgets
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and best practices
Build teams, including involvement in human resources processes such as recruitment, manpower planning, training, performance evaluation, retention and engagement, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven expertise in operation setup and implementation, process optimisation, productivity improvement, continuous improvement, or cost reduction
Experience in establishing business operations from scratch would be advantageous
Demonstrated motivation, passion, and commitment to operational excellence
Team building experience
