A leading global commerce media company is seeking an APAC Commercial Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across multiple jurisdictions. This role will focus on commercial transactions, compliance, and data privacy, partnering with executives and business teams in Japan, Korea, and Singapore. You will play a key role in enabling growth, managing risks, and advising on high-value commercial and technology-driven initiatives.

• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements with advertisers, retailers, publishers, and technology partners.
• Advise on advertising, marketing, and data privacy matters across APAC.
• Partner with product and commercial teams to support go-to-market initiatives.
• Provide legal guidance to executives and stakeholders in Japan, Korea, and Singapore.
• Deliver business-focused legal advice in fast-paced, international environments.
• Collaborate with global legal peers to manage cross-border legal issues and share best practices.

必須条件 経験・資格：

• 弁護士資格

• 大手法律事務所または外資系企業・日系グローバル企業における法務経験5年以上
• 商業取引・契約交渉の経験が豊富なこと

• 様々な文化・立場の利害関係者をエンゲージできること

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：ビジネスレベル
• 韓国語：歓迎

• インターネット、テクノロジー、アドテック業界での経験があれば尚可
• データプライバシー法規制（特に韓国）の知識
• 広告・マーケティング法務の経験

• 5+ years as a qualified lawyer in a top-tier law firm and/or multinational company.
• Strong background in commercial transactions and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with internet, technology, or ad tech industries preferred.
• Independent, proactive, and business-minded approach to legal problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-cultural stakeholder engagement.

• Japanese: Fluent proficiency.
• English: Business-level proficiency.

• Knowledge of data privacy frameworks, including Korean privacy law.
• Fluency in Korean a plus.
• Experience in advertising or marketing law.

• Exposure to complex, high-value negotiations across APAC.
