Specific Condition: 1 Year Contract

We are looking for a Vessel Inspector on behalf of our client, a state-owned enterprise in marine logistics (oil & gas).
 

The role will be responsible to ensure smooth vetting operations while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1, either Master Mariner or Chief Engineer (Engine) from a reputable maritime institute.
   
• Minimum 2 years' experience on tanker ships as Senior Officer (Master / Chief Officer / Chief Engineer / Second Engineer).
   
• Strong English proficiency with TOEIC ≥ 605 (valid within 2 years).
   
• Required Certificates
  - Advanced Liquified Gas Tanker (ALGT) or Advanced Oil Tanker (AOT)
  - BRM or ERM (Bridge Resource Management / Engine Room Resource Management).

Responsibilities:

• Perform vetting inspections according to international and company standards.
   
• Ensure vessel compliance with all safety, operational, and quality requirements.
   
• Oversee the vessels’ navigational matters, including approval of passage plans and conduct of navigation audits.
   
• Ensure compliance with terminal, operators, oil majors and charterers’ requirements.
