Overview:
A Japanese trading company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the Czech Republic.
You will be responsible for the sales and procurement of chemical and plastic products, including inventory management and business development across the EU market. This role involves direct communication with both suppliers and customers, mainly in the Czech Republic and Turkey. Occasional business trips (domestic and international) will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle chemical and plastic product trading operations
• Manage procurement from suppliers and sales to existing customers
• Oversee stock operation and inventory management
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers (mainly in the Czech Republic and Turkey)
• Identify and develop new potential customers and business opportunities
• Coordinate with suppliers (fixed for existing customers, flexible for new businesses)
• Prepare sales documents and manage order-related administrative tasks • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders
• Travel for business meetings as required (typically a few days per trip)
• Europe + Turkey are market which you will be in charge of.
Requirements:
• Native Czech speaker
• English communication skills (minimum B2 level)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong sense of ownership and willingness to take on new challenges
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
