Our client is an established manufacturing company in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Accountant with strong leadership qualities and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will take initiative, uphold high standards of accuracy and integrity, and contribute meaningfully to the Accounts Department and the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
Working location: Pasir Gudang, Johor
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all financial reports and data.
Manage full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL).
Monitor and guide team members to ensure compliance with timelines and procedures.
Oversee costing and inventory management processes to support operational and financial efficiency.
Handle taxation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and timely submissions.
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation and timely responses.
Manage cash flow and foreign exchange transactions with precision and strategic oversight.
Maintain and update fixed asset records, ensuring proper classification and depreciation tracking.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership qualities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
