As an Apple-Focused IT Consulting Engineer, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality IT services and strategic guidance.

  • Client IT Support & Maintenance: Provide expert support and proactive maintenance for our organization's IT environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.

  • Execute Project Delivery: Contribute to the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT projects, from infrastructure deployments to system migrations, adhering to best practices and company objectives.

  • Pioneer R&D: Actively research, evaluate, and develop new services, techniques, and solutions to enhance our offerings and maintain our competitive edge in the Apple ecosystem.

  • Architect & Document: Create comprehensive, high-quality documentation for system setups, processes, and solutions, ensuring clarity and efficiency for current and future team members.

A Day in the Life: Responsibilities

Your daily activities will blend technical expertise with client engagement and team collaboration.

  • Ensure IT environments receive expert-level service and proactive maintenance.

  • Execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to Sentree's high standards of quality.

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential IT issues and risks.

  • Embody a consulting mindset, providing expert advice and solutions.

  • Conduct regular meetings, delivering comprehensive status reports and updates.

  • Monitor services, prioritize critical needs, and recommend value-added solutions.

  • Actively participate in the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework and utilize scorecards for performance tracking.

  • Create and manage detailed internal and external project briefs.

  • Maintain accurate administrative worksheets (checklists, time sheets, billable forecasts).

  • Engage in daily stand-up meetings with your team for seamless collaboration.

  • Conduct weekly check-ins with the Operations Manager to align on priorities and progress.

  • Actively contribute to Weekly Level 10 Meetings, prepared to share insights and drive initiatives.

  • Extensive experience in advanced IT troubleshooting, Help Desk, and Systems Administration, with profound expertise in macOS and iOS.

  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying sophisticated Mobile Device Management (MDM) Systems using Mosyle, Jamf, Addigy, and similar tools, adhering to Apple's latest best practices.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust and secure Wi-Fi networks using technologies like Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, Extreme, Aruba, and similar enterprise-grade solutions.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and recover macOS running on Apple Silicon chipsets.

  • Familiarity with Windows 11 under Active Directory.

  • Proficiency in scripting and command-line functions for automation and advanced diagnostics.

  • Experience in architecting and configuring cloud email and document storage solutions using Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, and similar enterprise tools.

  • Adept at installing and setting up complex computer and network hardware.

  • Strong understanding of managing and configuring internet connectivity and UTM (Unified Threat Management) appliances.
