Responsible for overall project management of telecommunications projects,
defining project objectives, scope, and formulating plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for project-related communications,
conducting regular project meetings in Japanese and English with all stakeholders, including the project team, business stakeholders, and external vendors, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, and following up on action items.
Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation plans, implement risk mitigation strategies, and escalate key issues to Rakuten management as needed.
Ensure team members follow defined QA processes to ensure projects meet quality standards and requirements.

Experience working in mobile networks, RAN Commander (a solution for automated 5G mobile network planning and optimization)
Experience working in 5G/4G networks.
Understanding of tools such as RAN Designer and RAN Optimizer:
Project Management: Strong skills in project planning, execution, monitoring and control. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
. Cultural Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Native-level Japanese and business-level English.
Proficient in using project management software (eg Jira, MS Project, Asana).
Language Requirements: Native-level Japanese (N) and business-level English are a must.
Japanese languages: Native level Japanese (N) and business level English required.
