We are looking for an experienced bilingual developer to join our Retail team, focused on developing and maintaining POS and backend applications. You will design and develop high-quality software while coordinating with other team members working across the system stack.

Description

• Design, develop, and maintain POS and backend applications.
• Analyze and improve code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Collaborate with global teams across architecture, QA, and product management.
• Participate in Agile processes, daily standups, and sprint planning.
• Resolve software issues in coordination with support teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in development practices.

• 6+ years of C/C++ development in a Windows environment.
• Familiarity with DLL, MFC, IPC, and memory management.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Fluent Japanese language and business level English language.
• Preferred: Experience with retail POS integrations, self-checkout systems, or cloud development.
