COMPANY OVERVIEW

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Leadership:

   

  - Plan, organize, direct, and monitor all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

   

  - Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

   

  - Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Inventory Management:

   

  - Oversee accurate inventory counts, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes.

   

  - Implement and maintain robust inventory management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, locations, and movements.

   

  - Minimize inventory discrepancies, damage, and obsolescence.

• Team Management & Development:

   

  - Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff.

   

  - Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

   

  - Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.

• Logistics & Distribution:

   

  - Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

   

  - Optimize shipping routes and methods to ensure cost-effective and on-time deliveries.

   

  - Manage relationships with carriers and logistics providers.

• Safety & Compliance:

   

  - Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits, and providing necessary training.

   

  - Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed.

   

  - Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.

• Continuous Improvement:

   

  - Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.

   

  - Implement lean principles and best practices in warehouse operations.

   

  - Utilize data and metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Experience in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable.

• Skills: 

   

  - Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes and achieving cost savings.

   

  - Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
