PR/122738 | Technical Engineer (Paper)

Our client, a Japanese company in paper chemical industry, is looking for Technical Engineer with details as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Laboratory Testing:

  • Conduct a variety of paper tests

  • Prepare test samples and ensure proper sample handling and storage.

  • Analyze test data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during testing.

• Equipment Installation and Maintenance:
  • Provide technical support for the installation and commissioning of paper-related equipment (e.g., printing presses, coating machines, paper converting machines).
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
  • Provide technical guidance to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide technical advice and support to internal and external customers on paper-related issues.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to paper quality and performance.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to paper manufacturing and processing.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pulp and Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in conducting paper testing and analyzing test data.
• Experience with paper-related equipment installation and maintenance (preferred).
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
