Job Description

A FMCG multinational company (beauty products) is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team at Petaling Jaya.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Demand/Supply Planning to ensure the company meets customer demands and reduces lead time for customer satisfaction/order fulfilment rate.

  • Support brand businesses by providing visibility on risk and opportunity during each monthly business planning cycle.

  • Maintain high level communication with sales, marketing and finance steam to ensure accurate planning and forecasting.

  • Conduct historical sales, stock on hand analysis and coordinate with marketing to develop consensus forecast for base, new launch and promotion items.

  • Develop accurate key forecast metrics through data analysis to identify potential sources of forecast error and action plans to improve performance.

  • Manage product discontinuation with using in phase in phase out policy to avoid obsolete stock

  • Responsible for managing issues related to slow-moving stocks, out-of-stock, monitoring new product launches, upcoming promos, phase-in phase out, and chairing meetings for discussions if necessary.

  • Manage supply planning parameters and propose replenishment quantity and schedule to meet optimal stock coverage and service level.

  • Oversee all activities such as tracking and maintenance of accurate product master list and orders ETD/ETA to improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Assess and reorganize logistical problems and devise improvement plans to reduce costs and maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Full fledge Supply Chain Team management experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.

  • Well versed in legal and customs, insurance and logistics services related to importing activities

  • Have experience handling (3PL) external warehouse partner and e-retailers enabler (Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in SCM / Business Management or related field

  • 4+ years’ experience in supply chain management with leadership role

  • Familiarity with safety and procedural best practices in SCM

  • Experience with ERP programs (enterprise level preferred), and Magento E-commerce platform

  • Ability to lead, train and mentor employees                                                                     

  • Ability to handle with 3PL partner

  • Logic thinker and action taker, mature minded, high adaptability
