Lead HR & GA Functions for a New Spin-Off from a Global Brand in Japan
Join a newly launched spin-off of a global company and play a key role in shaping its HR and General Affairs functions from the ground up.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll build frameworks, support growth, and influence company culture from day one.

Newly established Japan entity from a global organization
Approx. 50 employees
Manage a lean team (1x HR, 1x GA) and report directly to the General Manager
Salary
Approx. ¥10 million JPY per year
Negotiable based on experience and skills

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and implement all HR operations and systems
Design and execute recruitment strategies
Drive employee training and development initiatives
Create and manage internal rules and labor compliance
Handle general affairs including office operations, company vehicles, and vendor relationships
Supervise payroll processes in collaboration with an external provider

必須条件
学士号、またはそれに相当する実務経験
人事分野での実務経験5年以上(特に中小〜中堅規模の企業での経験が望ましい)
人事および総務の両方を担当した経験がある方歓迎
日本の労働法および人事コンプライアンスに関する知識
日本語:ビジネスレベル以上
英語:中級以上(読み・書き・会話が可能なレベル)
細部にまで気を配れる力と、優れた業務整理能力
少人数・スタートアップのような環境でも自律して働ける方

Requirements
Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-sized company
Experience handling both HR and general affairs is preferred
Familiarity with Japanese labor law and HR compliance matters
Fluent in Japanese
Intermediate or higher level of English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a lean, start-up environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global companies or reporting to regional/global HR
Previous exposure to compensation & benefits (C&B) frameworks
Familiarity with payroll systems and basic budgeting or expense management
