<About the role. You will>

  • Be active in B2B sales activities 
  • Be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies
  • Coordinate small, Agile implementation projects or act as an independent leader of a project area
  • Lead complex business analysis, define functional requirements, design solutions and mentor less experienced team members
  • Act as a team leader, facilitating workshops and driving communication as needed by the project (scope of tasks can depend on the current project engagement) 
  • Work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis
  • Act as a Scrum Master with an option to develop as an Agile Coach

Minimum Experience Level Over 6 years

Minimum English Level Business Level (Amount Used: English usage about 75%)
Minimum Japanese Level Native
Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

About the requirements. You need:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance in an international environment (experience from international companies would be an asset)
  • Understanding how insurance companies or banks work, being familiar with their key processes and business models
  • Experience in the functional design of IT solutions and running IT implementations
  • To be creative, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems
  • To ensure quality of the deliverables of your team, by applying analytical thinking and synthesis skills
  • Experience in team management and taking responsibility for team results
  • Ability to work in Japan on a full-time basis
  • At least a bachelor’s degree
  • Great command of English (over TOEIC 900) and Japanese (over N1 level), being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers
  • Show interest in supporting business development activities in Japan.
