• 非財務リスクフレームワークおよび関連ポリシーの導入・継続的改善のリード
• リスクパフォーマンスを監視し、業務がリスク許容範囲内に収まるようにすること
• 各部門のリスクオーナーと連携し、リスク管理責任の遂行をサポート
• ガバナンス体制の維持、ステークホルダー対応、コントロールテストの管理

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Business Risk and Control Manager to drive non-financial risk (NFR) management and operational governance across its Japan operations. This strategic role works closely with senior leadership, risk stakeholders, and international colleagues to enhance risk frameworks, strengthen controls, and embed a strong risk culture throughout the organization.

• Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the firm's Non-Financial Risk Framework and related policies
• Monitor risk performance and ensure all operations remain within defined risk appetite
• Partner with risk owners to support end-to-end accountability across all business lines
• Manage control testing, internal governance processes, and senior stakeholder engagement
• Serve as an advisor on strategic, operational, and emerging risks across the Japan business
• Identify and execute automation and simplification opportunities in risk and control processes
• Contribute to global risk best practices through cross-border mentoring and coaching

必須条件

経験・知識：

• リスクマネジメント、またはファーストラインの実務経験10年以上（できれば金融業界）
• 経営陣やシニアステークホルダーとの調整・交渉経験、複雑な組織・関係を適切にマネージできること
• （できれば国際的な金融機関やグループにおける）リスク・コンプライアンスフレームワークの専門知識
• 優れた分析力、交渉力、コミュニケーション能力
• 優先順位を適切に見極め、マルチタスクができること
• 問題を建設的に解決する能力

語学力

• 日本語：ネイティブレベル
• 英語：ビジネスレベル

• チームマネジメントまたはラインマネジメント経験
• グローバルな銀行や証券会社での勤務経験（外資系・日系不問）
• Basel、ICAAP等、国際的なNFRプログラムの理解・運用経験
• 監査、規制対応、リスク評価プロジェクトの実務経験

Experience:

• Over 10 years of experience in risk management or 1st line roles, preferably in financial services
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Previous experience leading teams or managing direct reports

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks in a global financial institution
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and resolve conflict constructively

• Japanese: Fluent (required for local stakeholder interaction and governance)
• English: Intermediate to Business level (required for global collaboration)

• Experience working within large international banks or securities firms
• Exposure to global NFR programs such as Basel, ICAAP, or equivalent
• Familiarity with audit, regulatory review, or enterprise risk implementation
