PR/095235 | Facilities and Maintenance cum Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of all facility systems and execute necessary maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural work.

• Oversee the upkeep and functionality of fire safety equipment and systems.

• Verify that tasks completed by staff or contractors meet required standards, and address any shortcomings.

• Plan, coordinate, and manage essential central services such as maintenance, cleaning, waste management, and recycling.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues within the cleanroom environment.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all cleanroom equipment, ensuring timely repairs and servicing.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and internal company policies.

• Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent issues, managing their resolution effectively.

• Design and deliver safety training programs for employees.

• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance tasks, and safety documentation.

• Provide support and guidance during emergency situations.

• Ensure the facility complies with health and safety standards and relevant legislation.

• Optimize the use of space and resources within the building, including reorganization when necessary.

• Apply performance management strategies to monitor service levels and drive continuous improvement.
