Artec Co., Ltd. was founded in 1960 as an educational arts and crafts manufacturer and now, over 50 years later, stands as a leader in the educational field. Our line of over 10,000 products are sold through 3,000 distributors all over Japan. We make it our mission to provide the tools to draw out a child's creative spirit.

What We Do

Preschool & Kindergarten

Artec provides everything from educational toys like board games, card games and medals to costume bases for assemblies and art fairs to over 40,000 preschools and kindergartens around Japan.

Primary Education

Artec works with 20,000 elementary schools all over Japan, dealing in both standard and our own original educational materials in every subject, as well as safety devices and merchandise for sporting events. We also develop, sell, and rent digital materials for the growing number of ICT programs in schools as well as programming courses for the classrooms of the future.

Secondary and Higher Education
(Art and Technology Sales Department)

Artec delivers products for everything from fine arts and home economics to sports meets to a collection of 19,000 secondary schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools. With the introduction of compulsory programming courses in junior high schools, we also develop, sell, and rent materials for both students and educators.

General (Corporate Sales & Marketing)

Artec does business-to-business sales of its own in-house teaching materials, brain training products, novelties, art materials, and sports goods to buyers. Every product is produced through direct contact with our factories and support from in-house planning and design teams, which makes fulfilling requests for all manner of OEM and ODM goods incredibly easy.

And more than that, Artec delivers franchises to educators from every part of Japan. We collaborate with Gakken Educational to operate robot programming schools, and offer a variety of original course franchises including Innovator Academy, Innovator Academy: Early Years, Hop STEAM Jump, and digital abacus training.

International Sales & Marketing

Artec's products are in demand around the world. Our highly specialized team works in sync with third-party testing facilities to meet the rigorous safety standards of each country, helping to bring our robot programming kits, Artec Blocks, science series, and early-childhood educational toys to sixty nations across the globe and counting.
