LNG Japan’s most important mission is to contribute to the stable supply of LNG to Japan and other Asian countries with a core focus on projects in Indonesia and Qatar. For achieving this mission, we have been working on every business segment within the LNG supply chain, from upstream development, LNG production, LNG transportation as well as LNG trades including all aspects of implementation for LNG delivery under LNG SPA. In recent years, we have also become involved in new gas field development projects in Australia and domestic gas supply initiatives in Indonesia, seeking to diversify our areas of operation.

The energy industry landscape has been changing rapidly over the past few years, presenting the challenge of balancing energy stability with the goal of achieving a low-carbon society. In this context, LNG and natural gas are increasingly recognized as essential transition energies. In response to these changes, we are committed not only to ensuring gas resources and building the LNG supply chain but also to producing and supplying high-quality LNG and natural gas that integrate well with other energy sources.
