渥美浜北は、渥美工業グループの製造会社として設立されました。当社では、大手自動車メー カーやバイクメーカーからの委託を受け、自動車の重要部品であるベアリングやブレーキブースター、バイクのエンジンギアを主に製造しています。自動化に向けて、どこよりも早くロボットを導入し、現在では9割以上の部品が自動化された設備で加工を行っています。その結果、コストを抑えながらも高品質な製品を製造することに成功しています。 ほとんどの製造ラインが自動化されていますが、ロボットは自分だけでは動くことができません。そのため、人の手が必ず必要であり、人が機械を上手に扱うことが重要となっています。時代の変化に合わせて、人とロボットがうまく連携できるよう、今後も取り組んでいきたいと考えています。
