SCC – Scientific Consulting Company – was founded in 1989 by Dr. Friedbert Pistel.

Since then, we have become one of Europe’s largest privately owned and independent regulatory consulting companies, supporting our global customers with all their registration needs for:

Since its establishment in summer 2018, SCC Japan has been offering versatile services designed to meet the regulatory needs of our customers in Japan and abroad.

A representative office was functional in the country for 10 years prior to the company’s foundation.

From the initial outset, SCC Japan has been operating in two directions:
Providing regulatory and scientific services to Japanese customers active outside Japan (e.g. in Europe in the first instance, and increasingly in the Americas or other Asia-Pacific countries) and
Helping non-Japanese companies achieve product conformity to Japanese regulatory requirements.
