About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Legal Manager to support business operations across the ASEAN region. This role will provide legal advisory on a wide range of matters.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and regional affiliates, supporting both day-to-day legal matters and strategic initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to regional affiliates in line with business needs and objectives

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents

  • Identify and assess legal and contractual risks in projects and transactions, and propose mitigation strategies

  • Support contract negotiations and business transactions

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide guidance on legal and compliance matters

  • Monitor ongoing legal risks and issues, and recommend appropriate actions

  • Support dispute management and legal proceedings where required

  • Assist in developing and improving contract management and risk control processes

  • Participate in regional legal initiatives (e.g. training, policy updates, template standardization)

  • Liaise with external counsel and cross-functional teams as needed

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate legal work, preferably within construction, engineering, or project-based industries

  • Strong knowledge of construction law and contracts

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Familiarity with Southeast Asia markets will be advantageous
