• Responsible for operating water treatment systems, managing water quality, and handling waste disposal at land-based aquaculture facilities
• Play a key role in managing the aquatic environment that supports salmon farming, directly contributing to business operations
• Acquire a wide range of specialized skills through SCADA operations, water quality analysis, and obtaining various certifications
• We operate on a 4-on, 4-off shift schedule and provide a training environment that allows you to aim for a supervisory role in the future

【Job Responsibilities】
We will be responsible for water treatment and waste management at the RAS facility.
Our job is to keep water quality and process all waste to be disposed of, cleaning the water, recovering it composition and discharging clean water, protecting the environment. Without water we cannot produce Salmon. You will be trained and licensed to work with chemical products and hazardous substances, first aid, low oxygen environment, safety harness, forklift, and several other courses.
You will be trained to use SCADA and monitor the water treatment facility with all equipment and assets. You will be trained to perform water quality tests and analyze them.
You will help to keep a good work environment in the department and for all employees working in the company in other departments. You will help monitor air quality inside the facility and environment under safety conditions.

*All technicians will be trained to become future supervisors.
*Any skill that can be used better in another department would get recommendations to change departments.

【Requirements】

• It must be able to work as part of a team
• It must be able to work in shift schedule of 12h (4 days on – 4 days off straight)
• Able to lift 25kg
• Not afraid of heigh or use ladders for 8m under safety conditions with PPE
• Not problem of bad smell environment or handling sludge under safety conditions
• Any construction, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and biological skills would be an asset.
• It must be able to work on weekends, nights, holidays, which will change every month, as required by operations
• Basic communication in English is a plus
• Must live close to the farm or relocate soon.

【Any following skills will be a plus】

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical or vocational degree in aquaculture, environmental engineering, water resource management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in water treatment operations is preferred, ideally within an RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) environment.
• Basic knowledge of water treatment processes, systems, and technologies applicable to RAS facilities is desirable.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Familiarity with relevant environmental regulations and permit requirements is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with specialized water quality monitoring and analysis software is preferred.
