A rare opportunity to build and lead a new reinsurance business in Japan. Our client, a global boutique reinsurance brokerage, is establishing its Tokyo office and seeking a visionary Head of Life Reinsurance to develop and grow the local Life Brokerage operations.
You will have full autonomy to shape strategy, build client relationships, and grow a small but high-performing team, working closely with senior leadership overseas to define the company's presence in Japan's life reinsurance market.

• Develop and execute the Life Reinsurance growth strategy for Japan.
• Lead the structuring and placement of reinsurance transactions across traditional and non-traditional lines.
• Build, mentor, and manage a growing team of professionals.
• Drive business development by cultivating strong relationships with Japanese life insurers.
• Collaborate with global executives to align Japan's strategy with broader company objectives.

必須条件 経験・資格：

• 生命再保険、またはアクチュアリー・引受などの実務経験
• 日本市場におけるブローカーまたはビジネス開発経験

• Over 10 years in life reinsurance, actuarial, underwriting, or related fields.
• Proven success in business development or brokerage within the Japanese market.

• Excellent relationship-building and leadership skills.

• Japanese: Fluent (essential for client and regulatory communication).
