PR/120686 | Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the full accounting function for a trading and manufacturing business in Thailand. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, month-end closing activities, statutory reporting, and team management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with Thai accounting standards, IFRS requirements, and corporate policies while partnering closely with regional and global finance stakeholders.

• Establish and improve accounting processes, policies, and internal controls in compliance with Thai regulations and company standards.

• Manage the full-cycle accounting operation and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with TFRS-NPAE, Thai GAAP, IFRS, deferred tax requirements, IFRS 16, and transfer pricing regulations.

• Oversee General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inventory, Fixed Assets, Depreciation, CAPEX, OPEX, and Construction in Progress (CIP) activities.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting transactions and financial records.

• Manage tax compliance and statutory filings, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and related submissions.

• Liaise with regional and headquarters finance teams on forecasting, foreign exchange matters, J-SOX compliance, and audit requirements.

• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and government authorities.

• Ensure monthly closing deadlines are achieved within the required timeline.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five accounting professionals to drive operational excellence.

• Support management with financial analysis, reporting, and other assignments as required.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.

• Valid CPD License.

• Minimum 15 years of accounting experience, preferably within trading and manufacturing industries.

• Proven experience leading and managing an accounting team.

• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, IFRS, taxation, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Business-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP is highly preferred.
