A global transport and logistics company is seeking a Legal Manager to oversee legal affairs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage contractual risks, and provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee legal affairs, compliance, and corporate governance across all business units
• Ensure business operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations
• Advise management on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and commercial opportunities
• Develop and implement policies aligned with legal standards and the company's code of conduct
• Manage contracts and mitigate legal and operational risks
• Protect company interests and support sustainable business growth through practical legal guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in law or equivalent legal qualification
• More than 5 years of experiences in a corporate legal department
• Experience in handling a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters including compliance
• Prior experience dealing with regulatory authorities and government agencies
• Understanding of corporate governance, compliance, contract law and commercial transactions
• Excellent people management skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Fluent level written and spoken English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience supporting business operations in a multinational or international business setting
