Senior Payroll Specialist

Manage end-to-end monthly payroll, including bonuses, severance, tax adjustments, and statutory deductions.
Ensure compliance with Japanese labour, tax, and social insurance regulations, translating local requirements into global processes and systems.
Partner with HR, Finance, Digital, offshore teams, and payroll vendors to resolve issues and deliver accurate payroll services.
Provide payroll reporting, analytics, and support for complex employee inquiries.
Drive payroll process improvements, system enhancements, and change initiatives to increase efficiency and compliance.

Experience:

Extensive experience in Japanese payroll operations (experience at a major multinational company preferred)
Experience working in a global environment or collaborating with global stakeholders
Experience using payroll systems such as SAP or Workday is preferred
