Our client is a very stable, profitable construction and engineering firm with a diverse, international workforce, long-term stable client contracts, low overtime and excellent HR support.
They are hiring Site Safety Officers (SSHO) for government-related construction projects in the Kanto area, with projects across Japan.
Main duties
- Run daily site safety inspections and audits
- Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks and worker training
- Investigate incidents and near misses and track corrective actions
- Prepare safety plans and reports in English and Japanese
Work environment
- Bilingual team; English used with clients
