We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join a growing Cloud Engineering team responsible for the infrastructure, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of multiple B2B SaaS and AI-powered products.
The team supports the entire product portfolio, including both newly launched services and existing systems. You will work closely with senior engineers while taking ownership of day-to-day operations, improvements, and automation.
This is a hands-on engineering position for someone who wants to strengthen their cloud infrastructure expertise through practical experience while contributing to a rapidly growing technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain cloud infrastructure according to established procedures and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
Implement and improve monitoring, logging, and tracing
Maintain and enhance dashboards and alerting systems
Perform initial incident response, troubleshooting, and issue isolation
Work with senior engineers on root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews
Maintain and make small-scale improvements to existing Terraform/CDK code
Operate CI/CD pipelines and automate repetitive operational tasks
Create and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate with application engineers and other technical teams to improve system reliability and developer experience

Required Qualifications
1–3 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure such as AWS
Basic Linux server administration skills
Fundamental knowledge of networking
Ability to understand and modify existing Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform under appropriate guidance
Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills
For English-dominant candidates: fluent English and business-level basic Japanese communication skills
For Japanese-dominant candidates: fluent Japanese and business-level basic English communication skills
Candidates are expected to be comfortable communicating in both English and Japanese, with one language at a fluent level and the other at a functional conversational level.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Sentry, or CloudWatch
Understanding or practical experience with SLI/SLO-based operations
Automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Experience operating CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
Experience with Docker or other container technologies
Experience with incident response or on-call operations
Experience with cloud cost monitoring and optimization
AWS or other cloud-related certifications
