Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer within the Food & Beverage industry, operating a modern production facility in Johor. The company is looking for a well experienced Senior Production Engineer who is responsible for driving production efficiency, optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and support daily production operations to achieve manufacturing output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
Monitor production performance and drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Analyze production issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability and process performance.
Support new product launches, production trials, process validation, and manufacturing scale-up activities.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality standards, and company policies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste minimization, and operational excellence.
Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to production personnel while preparing operational reports for management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Production Engineer in Food Manufacturing industry, knowledgeable in food safety standards (i.e. FSSC 22000, GMP HACCP etc.).
Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
