COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer within the Food & Beverage industry, operating a modern production facility in Johor. The company is looking for a well experienced Senior Production Engineer who is responsible for driving production efficiency, optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support daily production operations to achieve manufacturing output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.

• Monitor production performance and drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

• Analyze production issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability and process performance.

• Support new product launches, production trials, process validation, and manufacturing scale-up activities.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, quality standards, and company policies.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste minimization, and operational excellence.

• Provide technical guidance, training, and coaching to production personnel while preparing operational reports for management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.

• Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Production Engineer in Food Manufacturing industry, knowledgeable in food safety standards (i.e. FSSC 22000, GMP HACCP etc.).

• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
