Company Overview
A well-established fresh produce importer and exporter based in Klang is seeking an Operations Planner to oversee operational planning, inventory management, costing, budgeting, logistics coordination, and performance reporting. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical and planning capabilities who can ensure efficient operations, cost control, and timely fulfilment of customer requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and incoming shipments.

• Coordinate packing, warehousing, inventory, and logistics activities to support on-time deliveries.

• Prepare product costing, landed cost calculations, gross margin analysis, and budget monitoring.

• Track inventory levels, replenishment requirements, stock ageing, and inventory performance.

• Coordinate inbound shipments and outbound deliveries with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams.

• Analyse operational performance and prepare management reports on costing, inventory, logistics, budgets, and operational metrics.

• Identify operational improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
   

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational planning, supply chain, inventory planning, production planning, costing, budgeting, or related functions.

• Strong knowledge of costing, forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and operational reporting.

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, manufacturing, import/export, or supply chain environments will be an added advantage.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong stakeholder management skills.
