An opportunity to join a growing energy business and take a broader role across electricity markets, trading, procurement and risk management.
You will work closely with experienced energy-market professionals, analysing market movements and supply-demand conditions and helping shape trading and hedging strategies.
Responsibilities may include:
- Analyse electricity market prices, supply-demand conditions and market trends
- Support and execute power trading and procurement strategies
- Develop hedging approaches to manage market-price exposure
- Evaluate trading opportunities using market and commercial data
- Monitor portfolio performance and changing market conditions
- Work with internal stakeholders on trading, pricing and risk-related decisions
This could suit someone already working in power markets, or a strong commodity / financial-market professional interested in developing a career in Japan’s electricity sector.
