OVERVIEW

A high-impact leadership opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional to head the testing and validation of next-generation robotic products, solution and hardware/software systems. In this role, you will lead quality initiatives, collaborate across hardware, software, and engineering divisions, and streamline test methodologies to deliver highly reliable robotic solutions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

System & Hardware Validation:

  - Direct comprehensive testing across physical robotic platforms, electronic subassemblies, and automated charging infrastructure.

Test Operations & Standards:

  - Design custom test environments and fixtures, establish standardized testing procedures (SOPs), and manage test documentation.

Cross-Functional Troubleshooting:

  - Coordinate with engineering teams to analyze system defects, isolate root causes, and align software with integration requirements.

Quality & Process Optimization:

  - Formulate test scenarios, analyze performance data, and continuously enhance validation protocols to shorten release cycles.

Required Skills

Required Skills and Experience

A successful applicant is expected to have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, and possess practical experience with;

  •  Professional experience evaluating and testing complex automated or robotic systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot combined hardware/software issues and interpret technical schematics.
  • Practical familiarity with Linux operating systems and standard robotics frameworks(ROS).

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools or industry safety compliance guidelines.
  • Conversational Japanese proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Japanese industrial design standards and regulations
