Overview

Our client is seeking a Supply & Post Harvest Quality Specialist to join their team in Fukuoka, Japan, supporting the quality and integrity of kiwifruit supply across the region. This role offers the opportunity to lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with growers, packhouses, and internal teams to enhance supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of post-harvest quality programmes and compliance
• Monitor pre-cooling and post-harvest handling to optimize fruit quality
• Conduct post-harvest audits of packhouses and loadout processes
• Lead or support storage trials and technical experiments in Japan
• Manage and analyze post-harvest data to identify trends and risks
• Strengthen quality systems and governance across supply chain control points
• Review and update legal and contractual documents for Japan operations
• Build and maintain relationships with growers, packhouses, and internal teams
• Advise on food safety certification processes like SQF
• Provide technical guidance on kiwifruit post-harvest handling and storage
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain quality standards

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Japanese
• 3+ years experience in post-harvest quality or supply roles
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Microsoft Office
• Full Japanese driver license with confidence driving long distances
• Experience with food safety certifications such as SQF is preferred but not mandatory
• Relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, food science, or related field
• Knowledge of post-harvest handling and storage techniques for kiwifruit
• Experience conducting quality audits and compliance assessments
• Ability to design and support technical trials and experiments
• Familiarity with supply chain quality systems and governance frameworks
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

応募条件：

• 英語および日本語の流暢な能力
• 収穫後品質またはサプライ関連の職務経験3年以上
• ExcelおよびMicrosoft Officeを用いた高度なデータ分析スキル
• 長距離運転に自信のある日本の普通自動車運転免許証保有者
• SQFなどの食品安全認証の経験があれば尚可（必須ではない）
• 農業、食品科学、または関連分野の適切な高等教育資格
• キウイフルーツの収穫後取り扱いおよび保管技術の知識
• 品質監査およびコンプライアンス評価の実施経験
• 技術試験および実験の設計および支援能力
• サプライチェーンの品質システムおよびガバナンスフレームワークの理解
• 優れた対人関係能力およびステークホルダー管理スキル
