Job Description
Our client, a Japanese engineering and trading company, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineering Leader / Supervisor to support automation and special purpose machine projects.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
✅ Create 2D/3D drawings, assemblies, and BOM
✅ Perform engineering calculations and design reviews
✅ Coordinate with Production, Electrical, and Project teams
✅ Support machine installation, testing, and commissioning activities
Requirements
✅ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
✅ Minimum 3–7 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
✅ Experience in Special Purpose Machines, Automation Systems, or Machine Maker industry
✅ Proficient in SolidWorks and GstarCAD/AutoCAD
✅ Strong understanding of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
✅ Experience preparing detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Willing to travel when required
