About the role

On behalf of our client, a leading national organization in the sports and lifestyle industry, we are seeking an experienced Vice Director – Finance, Accounting & Tax to lead corporate financial strategy and ensure long-term sustainability.
 

This executive leadership role is critical in shaping financial governance, driving capital allocation, and supporting strategic decision-making at the highest level. As Vice Director, you will act as a strategic partner to the President Director and Board.

Requirement
 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA/Master of Finance, CPA, CA, CFA, CMA highly preferred.

  2. 18+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting & Tax, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles (GM, Finance Director, CFO, or equivalent).

  3. Proven track record in corporate financial strategy, capital allocation, and business planning.

  4. Experience leading complex finance organizations with functions such as Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Internal Control.

  5. Strong exposure to multi-business unit operations or companies with high-volume transactions.

  6. Hands-on experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, and corporate restructuring/M&A.
     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    1. Define corporate financial strategy to support long-term growth and sustainability.

    2. Lead capital allocation & investment strategy, optimizing ROI and funding decisions.

    3. Ensure enterprise financial governance aligned with PSAK, tax regulations, and GCG principles.

    4. Direct enterprise risk management, safeguarding liquidity and financial continuity.

    5. Drive corporate financial performance, enhancing profitability and efficiency.

    6. Build strategic partnerships with banks, investors, regulators, and auditors.

    7. Lead finance transformation, modernizing systems and digital capabilities.

    8. Develop executive finance leadership, fostering succession planning and high-performance culture.
