Position: Melting & Casting Department Manager
Work Location: Ayutthaya
Salary: THB 60,000 - 80,000 per month

Job Summary
Manage, supervise, and control the entire aluminum melting and casting process in an automotive parts and/or aluminum alloy wheel manufacturing plant to achieve targets in quality, productivity, cost, safety, and production planning. Responsible for developing team capabilities and implementing new technologies and techniques to continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
· Production Planning & Management: Plan, manage, and control aluminum melting and casting operations to ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
· Quality Control & Defect Reduction: Ensure molten metal and casting product quality meet established standards. Reduce defect rates through root cause analysis and implementation of effective countermeasures.
· Cost & Energy Management: Plan and control the utilization of energy, melting furnaces, equipment, materials, and raw materials to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
· Team Management & Development: Lead, supervise, and develop engineers, supervisors, and operators within the melting and casting department to ensure safe and efficient operations.
· Safety & ISO/IATF Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with occupational health and safety standards (OHSAS/ISO 45001) and automotive quality management systems (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
· Continuous Improvement: Implement TPM, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory position within a melting and casting department.
· Specialized Expertise: Direct experience in Aluminum Alloy Wheel manufacturing or automotive aluminum casting processes such as Low Pressure Casting, Gravity Casting, or High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC).
· Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of aluminum alloy properties, molten metal treatment processes (Degassing, Fluxing, Modification), and melting furnace technology.

· Quality Standards: Good understanding of automotive quality management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

· Management Skills: Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and team management abilities.
